If you have been following the Webkinz crazy market, then you will notice that there is a whole other market for these little furry bundles of joy, called the "retired webkinz for sale" market.

This market is created quite quickly, when sold out webkinz, and discontinued webkinz and retired webkinz find their way onto the market.

The stores no longer carry these retired webkinz, and sellers, who were thinking ahead in this webkinz market, had bought up many of the little furry creatures as an investment!

So, they wait patiently, sitting on their gold mine of sold out webkinz or retired webkinz and as the holidays approach, and those frazzled parents check out the Christmas list from their kids, and realize that the webkinz they wanted are actually on the retired or discontinued list.

Now comes the feeding frenzy.. these retired webkinz and or discontinued webkinz will be for sale all over the internet, and steadily rising prices. Even the newest Webkinz for this years market, will be in huge demand.

A quick search on the internet of the "retired cheeky dog" webkinz (the earlier model, which is tan in colour, not the black and white one from this year) is going for 1300.00 dollars on one site! Can you believe it?.

There are many really cute webkinz on the market this year, and much more affordable prices, some as low as 9.99, and I am sure your kids would love a few of these. But if you are a serious collector of retired webkinz, then you had better get your skates on before the full swing of holiday shopping hits, and the prices rise. Good Luck!
